THE RECORDS – Catholic is 3-3 in 2012, including a 1-2 mark in District 4AAA. The Irish lost at home to Lenoir City last week, 31-14. Maryville is 6-0 this season, including a 3-0 record in District 4AAA. The Rebels won at Bearden last week, 21-3.

 LAST YEAR VS. MARYVILLE – Top-ranked Maryville kept its perfect record intact with its 35-7 win over the Irish. After holding a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, the Rebels scored four second-quarter touchdowns and led at halftime, 35-0. Catholic’s touchdown came in the final period when Matt Armstrong passed 12 yards to Nolan Coulterfor the score. Coulter led the Irish on the ground with 56 yards on 15 carries. He also had two catches for 20 yards, including the touchdown grab.

 WEEK SIX – Catholic held a 14-7 lead after one quarter but was unable to generate any more points in its 31-14 home loss to Lenoir City. A one-yard run from Nolan Coultercapped a 10-play, 80-yard drive to open the game. Following a Lenoir City score, Coulter found the end zone from one yard to end a six-play, 80-yard drive. Coulter rushed 15 times for 109 yards, his 17thcareer 100-yard rushing game. Coulter topped the season 1,000-yard rushing mark during the contest, as well. Stuart Smith led the Catholic defense with 13 tackles, including two for-loss and a sack. Logan Lacey registered 11 stops, while Theo Sholly had a fumble recovery.

Coulter has six catches for 42 yards, while Lacey has five receptions for 76 yards and a score.
