Knoxville Catholic (Tenn.) senior wide receiver Amari Rodgers received his Under Armour All-America jersey during a ceremony as part of the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance.

The Under Armour game is Jan. 1 in Orlando.

The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Rodgers is ranked as the No. 10 wide receiver and No. 71 player overall by ESPN.

“My dream is to make it to the NFL and be the best teammate and person I can be,” Rodgers said.

A Clemson commit, he has caught 37 passes for 1,165 yards and 17 touchdowns this season for the Irish, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A. The team won its first region title since 2008.

He was named Mr. Football Back of the Year in the classification last season and is expected to again contend for the award.

Rodgers initially accepted an invitation last February to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl but later changed his mind and committed to the Under Armour Game.
